Marcellus Writes: Path to Publication In-Person
Join local author Linda Lowen in a 5-week-long series of writing workshops.
Marcellus Writes' goal is to make creative writing inclusive to everyone, especially people who cannot afford formal writing workshops. Providing this equitable opportunity will allow a diverse group of writers to come together, learn from one another, and promote a greater number of diverse voices being published.
Participants will be engaged through writing prompts, group critiques of original work, and facilitator guidance. The needs and interests of the participants will shape each week within the framework already established by Linda Lowen. Participants will come away from the workshop with an understanding of how to pursue publication, and a sense of community with other local writers.
