Lunar Eclipse with Barefoot Bob In-Person
Total Lunar Eclipse Viewing – March 13-14
Join us for a rare total lunar eclipse, visible right here in the U.S.! We’ll set up telescopes in the parking lot at 10 PM on Thursday, March 13, to watch as the moon passes through Earth’s shadow.
- 11:56 PM – The penumbra begins, giving the moon a pale brown hue.
- 1:09 AM (Friday, March 14) – The umbra starts to cover the moon, turning it red.
- 2:26 AM – Total eclipse begins.
How dark will it get? Come and see! We’ll also have fantastic views of the spring sky, plus Jupiter and Mars.
