Shape, Shade, Shadow for Tweens

Shape, Shade, Shadow for Tweens In-Person

Take your art to the next level with Tatum in this drawing class built for Tweens! Step by step, you’ll learn how to sketch with confidence while mastering shading, blending, and turning flat shapes into realistic 3D forms. Discover how light and pencil pressure can completely change the look of your art and help you bring your ideas to life on the page. Whether you’re starting fresh or sharpening your skills, this class gives you the tools to grow as an artist and create work you’ll be proud to share. Please note: if you are 12 years old, you may register for this class or Shape, Shade, and Shadow for Kids—but not both.

Tatum Roger is a recent graduate of the Marcellus School District. Tatum earned her Advanced Regents Diploma through art. She has received two Golden Key Awards for her artwork, along with several other honors. She is especially known for her realistic drawing style. With years of drawing experience and guidance from incredible mentors, Tatum has developed both strong technical skills and a passion for helping younger artists grow. She is thrilled to return to her hometown library to share her love of art.
