RULES FOR THE FRIEND'S COMMUNITY ROOM
1. A meeting room is available for public use on the second floor of the library.
2. The meeting room will be available without charge for meetings of community organizations.
3. Educational, civic, patriotic, charitable, public welfare and social benefit organizations may schedule meetings when the room is available. Programs sponsored or offered by the Library will have priority in scheduling.
4. No meetings will be held which are sponsored by individuals or for which an admission fee is charged with the exception of a fund raising event for the benefit of the Library.
5. The Librarian and Library Board will control and supervise the scheduling of meetings.
6. The name, address, and telephone number of an officer or member of the organization responsible for the meeting will be given to the staff to keep on file at the library.
7. The Librarian will keep track of meetings and report monthly on the use of the community room.
8. No alcoholic beverages will be served in the community room without prior permission from the Library Director.
9. At the close of the meeting, the room must be left in the same order as it was found.
10. Maximum Occupancy: 147 chairs; or 206 standing room; or 69 people with tables and chairs
11. All programs must be open to the public.
Please note: Programs can start no later than 15 minutes prior to the building's closing to ensure the public can attend. Programs can end no later than 2 hours after closing.
